I Will

• Take care of myself so I have the wherewithal to continue.
• Assume that many more shocks are coming, so they won't be so shocking.
• Get ahead of my reactions instead of allowing each fresh outrage to set me back.
• Do intentional, deliberate, pragmatic good as I am able.
• Use my talent, privilege, and material resources to help 1/ block policies and actions that increase suffering and 2/ facilitate policies and actions that decrease suffering.
• Listen to individuals and groups who need help;
• Believe their experiences, respect their boundaries, support their decisions, and let their wisdom guide my help accordingly.
• Tend toward long-term association with those who make similar commitments so we can encourage and learn from one another.
• Take care of myself so I have the wherewithal to continue (again).
